I think if you wanted to buy one, it would be a very bold move, but have to admit, a marker running off propane just sounds wrong and dangerous.
I think I'lle stick to old faithfull C98. Lotsa parts available, affordable and highly customizable as the name suggests. Not sure if the C3 is customizable at all.
The C98 retails on average for R1600 and the C3 for +- R1800.
Take it from someone that knows what it is like to work with a limited budget, while getting the absolute best for his money.

When you are at a tornament. Take a look at the pros, then look for the guys that are suited up and ready to go, the guys that spend zero time fussing with their marker, the guys that can pick up and run into the field without having to "fix" their marker first.
These are they guys that have bought and maintined their own Tippman 98 Custom.
Sure, if you have the money get an A5/X7 but if you want qulity+price=best-buy. You already have the answer.
