Apex, Flatline or normal sniper barrel?

Hi there, I looking at barrels but I just want to know what the difference is between a flatline barrel and an Sniper barrel? Alreay know about the backspin and everything. So I just want to know what makes the sniper barrel good and if it is worth choosing it over the flatline or if that is just crazy talk?
